Dans le cadre du projet HIMANIS (HIstorical MANuscript Indexing for user-controlled Search), se tient, mercredi 22 juin 2016 à 16 h, une conférence sur les technologies pour la reconnaissance de textes manuscrits, l’exécution de requêtes et l’alignement textes/images par le professeur Enrique Vidal (Pattern Recognition and Human Language Technology Research Center et Universitat Politècnica de València).
Résumé
Lors de cette conférence, trois types de technologies qui ont été développées au sein du centre de recherche Pattern Recognition and Human Language Technology de l’UPV seront exposées et feront l’objet de démonstrations :
- La reconnaissance automatique assistée par ordinateur des textes manuscrits.
- L’indexation et l’exécution de requête au sein de grands corpus d’images de textes manuscrits.
- L’alignement de textes manuscrits préexistant avec l’image correspondante : alignement par lignes, mots et caractères.
Abstract
Three types of technologies which have been developed at the Pattern Recognition and Human Language Technology (PRHLT) research center of the UPV will be outlined, each followed by live demonstrations:
- Automatic and computer assisted (interactive) handwritten text recognition.
- Indexing and Search for large collections of handwritten text images.
- Aligning existing transcripts with corresponding text images: line, word and character-level alignments.
